Spiritual Path

We all search for love, for peace, for inner tranquility.  It’s only when we focus on being still. When we stop and listen.  Only then will we be able to hear this soft whisper encouraging us to make the choices that are best for our lives. We should visualize ourselves in golden light and embrace the energy of Spirit..

As Sunflowers, the sentinels of Summer, follow the sun so should we follow our spiritual path.  Our unique journey in our own way, in our own time.

The Spiritual Heart

We may not be able to grasp love with our hands or even see it with our eyes, but we forever feel it with our hearts  ~  Unknown

Our Spiritual Heart is in that place deep within our innermost self. Sometimes lying dormant and oftentimes bursting with passion. It is that place where our consciousness takes root and as we nurture and grow mindfully so does our Truth, our Learning and our Capacity to Love. The Spiritual Heart awakens to the realization that everything we need to grow spiritually, is within us. Before we can love unconditionally we have to be able to give and receive unconditionally.  The Spiritual Heart is pure love. Free, complete, balanced and whole.

Even a time worn figurine, seemingly powerless, has the capacity to embrace spirit and spread love through the calm and quiet of a heart of wood.

Inner Battles

We all have inner demons to fight, we call these demons, fear and hatred and anger. If you do not conquer them then a life of one hundred years is a tragedy. If you do, then a life of a single day can be a triumph  ~ Yip Man

Life is never a smooth journey. There is a constant battle that goes on inside all of us.  Negative energies that taunt and deride us. Fear, uncertainty, frustration, even anger. Constantly tormenting us and stunting our spiritual growth.  Just like with every battle, we can choose to submit to these negative energies or we can choose to fight and overcome them.  Embrace your power. Be strong in Spirit.  Be fearless.

Even a one hundred year old oak tree,  limbs worn and weathered from battling the elements of nature, continues to grow and seek warmth and solace from the sun.

Spiritual Imagination

Imagination doesn’t always mean looking outside of the box, but taking a closed box and seeing a different world from within it ~ Lionel Suggs

Our Spirit, the very essence of it, gives us our passion. Spirit also gives us our imagination.  We need to look deep inside of us,  so that we may see, feel and live our lives in a better, loving and more mindful way. Don’t lose sight of Spiritual Imagination, it sets our passions afire. It makes everything and anything possible.

By closing our eyes, we can open up a wondrous world within and just like that, we can breathe life into and make iron birds take wing, leaving a trail of luminous stardust swirls and whorls behind them.

Love waits

It is at the edge of a petal that love waits  ~  William Carlos William

Love has many meanings and for the most part we tend to get caught up in its complexities and try to be too many things to too many people. We lose our sense of balance and we either take more than we need or we give away far too much of our self, our very essence.  We tend to look beyond the obvious, that Love begins with us.  Once we make that deeper connection to self we realize the power of self love. To truly give our love to others we have to first love ourselves and when we put it into practice then and only then will we experience an awakening.

Our life path seemingly rickety and likened to a skeleton stretched across a barren land but in that moment of awakening, there love waits.

Free Spirit

Embrace the free spirited nature of your authentic self and nurture the energy that exists within.  To reawaken your inner self and begin creating a life that you love is a sign of truly being a free spirit.   Be the one that is constantly curious, that welcomes surprise in their life. The one that asks, “just how alive do I need to feel to be able to experience all-encompassing love?”  The one that strives for balance in Mind, Body and Spirit.

Never give up on that young spirit within you, the one that sees the simplicity and beauty of nature and life through a child’s eyes.

Winds of Change

Men do change, and change comes like a little wind that ruffles the curtains at dawn, and it comes like the stealthy perfume of wildflowers hidden in the grass  ~ John Steinbeck

We reach a point in our lives where we realize our need for change. On reflection we may see something in ourselves that we feel we can improve on, make worthier. Instead of trying to attempt immediate and profound changes within, we should rather allow our inner essence to flow freely, gently, slowly.  For it is our spirit, our authentic self, that wants to express itself, to grow and experience life and for this to happen, our spirit needs change.

Change is like soft gusts of wind, blowing through the entrails of our minds within the colorful fabrics of our lives.  Embrace the Winds of Change.

Spiritual Warrior

To be nobody but yourself – in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else – means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting  ~  E.E. Cummings

We have to embrace our inner Spirit and remain true to ourselves, follow our self-beliefs. For Spirit is our weapon of strength.  Stand firm, stand tall and never give in to Life’s Battle of Conformity.   We must strive for Exceptional Spirit.

A lone warrior albeit standing tall can so easily be lost in the sea of trees,  fading into the shadowy waters, becoming almost invisible in its surrounding sameness.

Colors within

It is far better to cast the colorful and vibrant radiance of yourself towards others.  The beautiful hues of your inner self. The reds, the golds, the blues and silvers. The yellows, and violets, the spiritual purples. The very spirit of you in kindness, respect, love and compassion.

Should the winds of fortune ever change, instead of dark, ashen colors of anger and angst, everything that you have put out there, with good intention, will be picked up on the wind and given back.  So always try to be kind and generous of heart.

Inner Sanctuary

Within you there is a stillness and sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself  ~  Hermann Hesse

So many of us go through life being supportive of others. Always offering a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on. All of which is a drain on our spiritual equilibrium. Never, or very seldom, do we take time for ourselves.  In order to get in touch with our needs and desires, we must embrace self-awareness and self-love.  I have found the best way to align Mind, Body and Spirit is through Meditation and EFT tapping.

To discover inner peace we need to take command of our thoughts which in turn will bring about a harmonious and balanced state of mind. By restoring our energy balance and becoming more aware and mindful of ourselves, we will be free to live our lives within our realm of Love, Peace and Tranquility
