Inner Sanctuary

Within you there is a stillness and sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself  ~  Hermann Hesse

So many of us go through life being supportive of others. Always offering a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on. All of which is a drain on our spiritual equilibrium. Never, or very seldom, do we take time for ourselves.  In order to get in touch with our needs and desires, we must embrace self-awareness and self-love.  I have found the best way to align Mind, Body and Spirit is through Meditation and EFT tapping.

To discover inner peace we need to take command of our thoughts which in turn will bring about a harmonious and balanced state of mind. By restoring our energy balance and becoming more aware and mindful of ourselves, we will be free to live our lives within our realm of Love, Peace and Tranquility

Lovely post Grady. I believe we could all take some time to find ourselves, away from all the forces and distractions of the illusion… Johnny

Tapping is another great exercise. I need to discipline myself more to make this more of a routine. Great post, and great pic too 🙂

Thanks! I just recently starting tapping and rather than focus on any negatives.. at my age I find my life becoming more stress-free. I instead repeat a positive affirmation when tapping – I will try to live, eat and exercise mindfully because I love and respect myself. I do this morning and night. I find it quite relaxing. I am not able to meditate regularly so this daily short tapping exercise suits me well.
