We have to embrace our inner Spirit and remain true to ourselves, follow our self-beliefs. For Spirit is our weapon of strength.  Stand firm, stand tall and never give in to Life’s Battle of Conformity.   We must strive for Exceptional Spirit.

A lone warrior albeit standing tall can so easily be lost in the sea of trees,  fading into the shadowy waters, becoming almost invisible in its surrounding sameness.

    “in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else”. Wonderful quote. Thank you, this is aligned well with my thoughts. As Mentor I truly believe I can not change and adult, I can not motivate anyone. We has Humans have motivation within, we as adults have the WILL to change ourselves by invoking our inner motivaitons and not letting everybody else to make us or mar us. I like the quote, it started a thought chain. Thanks for kindly sharing. Regards. Jay

      Thanks Tom! I came across that tree while out kayaking on Lake Martin (swamps). I have been out many times since and have never seen it again so I count myself very fortunate to have been able to capture it in a photo. How wonderful to have some of E.E. Cummings paintings and letters.. a treasure indeed!
