The more often we see the things around us – even the beautiful and wonderful things – the more they become invisible to us. That is why we often take for granted the beauty of this world: the flowers, the trees, the birds, the clouds – even those we love. Because we see things so often, we see them less and less ~ Joseph B. Wirthlin

We should never take life, the people in it or our natural environment for granted. To do so is to lose the very essence of our spirit, to suffer a temporary blindness. There are so many extraordinary and inspiring people out there and so many breath-taking moments given to us by Mother Earth. We just have to open up ourselves, and our eyes, to see them. We have to open our hearts.
As we go through life, when we fail to appreciate what we have in front of us, we lose sight of the beauty that surrounds us. Like a bird in a tree, invisible, yet not.

A Gorgeous lady with gorgeous talents.. !! Love the way you make your words echo and that too, through the very reflective and real images you take..😍

Excellent observation. And we can flip that pattern. Once we see something of beauty we can learn to see it more readily – and in everything 🙂

Thanks so much! You must see some beautiful places on your hikes! I agree, the moment when one begins noticing the simplicity of beauty, inner calmness is not far behind.
