Seeking Solitude is a deliberate choice. A quiet space or place where one can feel free to savor moments of quiet reflection. To meditate with firm intention. To change old habits with mindful thinking. To recharge your energy. Uplift your mind, body and spirit. Reawaken familiar yearnings. A place within where thoughts are free to stay. Or, go wherever one’s spirit desires. A flight of fancy, a soaring of the imagination. All this and more can be achieved when in quiet solitude.
Love • Peace • Tranquility
Yes, I so agree, the wealth of silence is often understated, great reminder of the need for intention. Fab photo too, reeks of stillness.

Great post! I think some relate solitude to loneliness and miss the benefits of recharging this way

Thank you and I agree with you. I remember reading one of your posts where you say.. Hiking is like moving meditation. I loved that. Lake Martin is my go to place to kayak, catch sunsets and generally just be one with nature.

Finding us is what gives life meaning. Most avoid it because of their fears…you are standing in it 😀

Great article! I love when I find my peace and solitude. Most of the time I get new ideas and work on them in my notebook.
